Graduate Students

Dr. Doane has accepted 2 graduate students for Fall 2023 but will not be accepting new graduate students for Fall 2024. To read more about Dr. Doane’s mentorship, check out this ASU News article.

Undergraduate Students

JOIN THE LAB! We are actively recruiting undergraduate research assistants (RAs) for Spring 2024! We need RAs to assist with data collection and various lab tasks in support of our LivesMix study. The LivesMix study is a year-long ecological momentary assessment of cultural identities across the transition and adjustment to college. English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

ENERGIZE. The ASAE Lab is part of the ENERGIZE Research Initiative, which aims to connect undergraduate students who are underrepresented in the sciences (e.g., racial/ethnic background, sexual orientation, first-generation students) with research laboratories within the Psychology department at ASU. We agree to be flexible when considering student preparation (e.g., GPA, courses taken), as well as the student’s hourly commitment and availability to work in the lab. Importantly, Dr. Doane and her graduate students are committed to providing close mentorship to students (e.g., in research and the graduate school application process). Click HERE to apply to our lab through the ENERGIZE Research Initiative.

We will begin interviewing applicants for Spring 2024 in November-December of 2023.
